I started the Boot Camp training and followed the lessons as instructed and worked super hard at my website each and every day. It took me quite some time before I even started seeing any traffic at all but that didn't matter because I understood that this wasn't no get rich quick overnight kinda of thing. I was creating a long term business and things like this don't happen overnight.
It took me until May for me to get any decent traffic and I got my first sale the first week in May. I was so excited I had to tell everyone. It was a really great feeling and it gave me more confidence to keep pushing forward. After I got my first sale a few days later I got a couple more and like Kyle told me it has snowballed over time.
How I managed to get traffic and turn that traffic into sales
Kyle is always telling us to write engaging content and to always write with the visitor in mind. This is the only way to get people engaged in your content and make it interesting to read. If you are real with people and you can connect with them on a personal level you will be able to gain their trust and they will buy from you. Not only will this help you gain more readers but Google loves this kind of interaction as well and they will rank you higher as a result of this.
First $400+ Day!!! (3 month at WA)
This post makes me smile because it brings back that initial excitement to me. However, it also brings back some other things I'd like to share.
When I first joined WA, I lived WA. I slept, ate and drank WA. Although I only spent a few hours a week creating stuff, I probably spent 60hours+ reading and learning. I went through thousands of threads on Wealthy Affiliate forum, I read and researched every single resource WA had to offer.
Then I would take action. Learn something new - apply it right away. Learned about SEO? Edit the site right away. Learn how to add images to a blog post? Edit old blog post and add images there. Action Action Action!
Back then I simply wanted to succeed and I was VERY motivated to never go back to a 9-to-5 job. That "hate" towards a "job" gave me motivation and I kept doing whatever WA told me to do until I made my first sale. Then I realized that I just had to keep doing whatever I am doing because if I made 1 sale I can certainly make more sales...
I might be repetitive because I have already posted in my other posts: TAKE MASSIVE ACTION as often as you possible can.
Do not try to create a perfectly looking website or find that one amazing keyword phrase - because perfect doesn't exist. The more time you spend looking for "perfection" the less time you have to take action.

What WA has done for me in the first 6 months and how to make it work
I have experienced great success with WA by working a great program, WA, having support from my family, and staying determined to succeed. I wanted to share what I have achieved and some key points to my success to encourage others to make it happen. See where you want to be and make it happen.
When I started I had a lot of doubts and after month one, two, and three I had barely made a few cents and a lot of friends thought I was wasting my time and living in a dream world. Let me tell you that with WA and some great friends I've made along the way my dream world is becoming a reality.
My goals where to keep from my wife from going back to work after my son was born....... reality now. She gets to stay at home and raise our son which was a dream of ours so our kids would never be without one of us by their side.
The Search is Over
Its taking me about 5 years to finally overcome my fears of starting an online business. I spent that entire time, searching for the right opportunity, I tried to stay away from the scam sites as much as I could. But I will admit, I did get duped by a few.
As a disabled vet, I wanted to have an opportunity to have a second income. Financially, things can get pretty tight on a fixed income
So anyway, I just took my time and kept searching. One day I just happened upon WA. After more than five years of searching, this was the first site that said "hey, check us out for free! So I did.
Now the search is over.
I was not disappointed, Everything I need is here, especially because I'm a newbie. WA is a community of like-minded people. Its a cultural of sharing that has been at times quite overwhelming for me. Anything I need to know I ask.
Now of course, I've only scratched the surface of all the information available. I learn new things everyday. In fact, as much as I'd like to generate an income right now, I know that all I have to do is to keep following the steps and I'll get there. I'm sure of it.
My goal is to generate $100 a day from my site, then add other sites. I'm sure that by that time I'll have a good grasp of things.
Eventually, I want to know enough to be able to help other people. That's really what this site is all about.
